Our Honeymoon (Part 1)

Crystal Springs

We spent the first week of our honeymoon locally in South Africa at a mountain lodge in the Mpumalanga province called Crystal Springs.

We travelled for approximately 4-5 hours by car until we arrived high up in the mountain at the lodge.  We visited many waterwalls in the surrounding region and mostly relaxed after the overly exciting wedding event which drained our energy.

Our Wedding

On the 27th of April 2013 I decided to tie the knot

I met my wonderful husband when my family and I moved to a new house in a new area.  Co-incidentally, he also moved homes round about the same time. One day I was walking around my backyard and happened to glance over the wall. And there he was standing, glancing right back at me!  I felt curiosity build up inside me and it wasn't long before we officially met when he came over to my house for a neighbourhood braai hosted by my family.

We kept in touch as friends and became closer with time. Within the blink of an eye I found myself attached to him and realised that he was the one I would like to spend the rest of my life with.

Utter bliss from day one

Our smiles have only broadened since our wedding day
I feel like the luckiest girl ever because I did not even move off the block. I moved behind my parents house and so I still get to see my family as often as I like.
